Learn about future PGRN Members Research Communties
Join the PGRN-Wide Members call on Friday April 7 to help establish PGRN-subgroups or Member communities for people focused, for example, in major disease areas. We will define communities and develop resources to catalyze communication between Members with similar interests in PGx research.

Steps to implementation
Mechanism:
the PGRN Hub could support communication in the form of:
web pages for established groups
web forums
setting up phone or webex calls
setting up birds-of-a-feather table sessions at upcoming meetings where possible
Other Benefits:
Communities/Groups will be invited to Nominate:
RIPS speakers
featured projects
featured investigators
Two pronged approach:
We will analyze the data in the members' directory to see if we can uncover distinct clusters of overlapping research and areas of interest
We will send a survey to ask:
Are you interested in joining a PGRN-subgroup?
Which groups? e.g. We will provide a list of potential groups as check boxes as well as an "other" box and options like regional or "student sub group" categories etc.
